De omschrijving

The Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for enhancing the scientific credibility of Remicade among all existing internal and external clients (Marketing OL’s, experimenters) guaranteeing the scientific importance of all the information provided by the company, through maximization of medical communications and close scientific support for promotional activities. The Medical Affairs Manager is also responsible to plan and conduct Medical Affairs Trials and Programs in alignment with the Market planning cycle.
These responsibilities involves working closely with the Local Medical Director and Marketing Department, to provide timely and effective scientific support for all promotional activities and to optimize KOL management

Activities and responsibilities

Medical training

monitoring and reporting on medical knowledge level within the company
developing and update medical training materials

Medical Relations and KOL management

primary medical contact with national experts and Advisory Boards
representative and / or medical expert (speaker / discussant) at relevant international and national scientific meetings

Strategic Medical Support

Business Units: development promotional materials and business plans and design and start-up non-registration studies
for other functions, such as Regulatory Affairs, Medical Information and Drug Safety

Tactical Medical Support

developing and/or the medical review and approval of promotional materials, publications, reimbursement files and medical translations

By designation of the Medical Director

review and sign-off for NL Promotional Materials and Medical approval of scientific activities in other therapy areas.

De eisen

clinical Protocol and Clinical Studies knowledge
English language – proficiency at the business level
general computer/IT skills
physician, or graduate in an appropriate life science,
preferably with a concentration in the therapeutic area
ability to network with Opinion Leaders
detailed focus and execution excellence
