International company focused on the development and commercialization of in vitro diagnostic assays.
Provides ELISA, RIA and LUM based diagnostic products for both research and clinical diagnostic labs. Products are sold worldwide through direct sales and international distribution network. Currently 70 employees, offices in Germany, The Netherlands and North America.

The Account Manager will be responsible for the further sales expansion in this territory and the continuous development of our position on in the Dutch market. The main focus is based on identification and acquisition of new potential customers as well as on development of existing clients. Therefore, the Account Manager has to analyse the market for new sales opportunities with a strong focus on operational business and to promote our products in new and existing sales channels. The Account Manager will report to the Head Operations & Sales Germany. This position can be performed from the home office but will require a significant amount of travel in the assigned territory. The candidate should be self dependent. The Account Manager has to be able to deal with a strong competitor situation and potential problems with products or licenses.

| | Professional competency
|
Extensive knowledge of the immuno-diagnostic market in assigned territory.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar sales position for immunoassay reagents and/or instrumentation (operational business!)
Existing good and long term relationships in the in-vitro diagnostic sector
Experiences or knowledge in marketing (focus functional) and business administration is a plus
Scientific background in biology, medicine or chemistry

Ability to travel up to 60% of time with quarterly travel to Hamburg Germany
Serious, competent and friendly manner
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
Honestly, reliable and open minded behaviour with great sales talents
Able to act independently, very well organised and self dependent
